These Tornado Potatoes or Spiral Potatoes are the most impressive side dish we have cooked so far. But don't worry, they won't cause any disaster in your kitchen or leave the chaos of ingredients and utensils in their wake. Because they are simple to make in the oven and can accompany any dish you can think about. It's a funny way to prepare baked potatoes for the little ones in the house or for a summer barbecue with friends. These tornado potatoes are best if you enjoy the outdoors; in fact, it's one of the most famous street foods in countries like Korea, Australia or the United States. It is another way to eat baked potatoes: the type of cut causes the potato to look different, resulting in thin, crispy potatoes.

Preparation
Choose two medium, long potatoes, and insert a wooden skewer in the potato, from top to bottom.
With the knife, cut it drawing a spiral around the skewer. When it is done, separate the cuts a bit and place the potatoes in an oven tray.
Prepare an oil with spices like paprika, chopped garlic, oregano, and salt, and brush the potatoes with the mixture.
Bake in the oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes, remove and grate cheese all over. Bake again for 5 minutes with the grill function on to melt the cheese and ready.
Serve your hot Tornado Potatoes as a side dish or as a fun starter for your summer meals.
