Description

We have not one, nor two, but three hummus to bring some colour and flavour to your summer snacks. Hummus is one of those exotic dishes that is already part of our daily diet. It is such a good recipe that we wanted to try different base ingredients to see what happens. Exploring and working with this chickpeas cream in the kitchen is so easy that you just need to keep the original basis and add different cooked vegetables under your choice.

Ingredients

Servings for 4

Canned or cooked chickpeas
800gr
Tablespoon Lemon juice
2
Lemon peel
1/2
Salt
Tahini
Cumin
Garlic
Olive oil
50ml
Water
Roasted, red pepper
4-5
Paprika
Spinach

Preparation

1

For the hummus base, puree the chickpeas with lemon juice, salt, tahini, cumin, garlic, and olive oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add water to reach the right texture.

2

Divide this hummus into three food containers.

3

For the red pepper hummus, blend the roasted pepper and paprika with the hummus base.

4

Repeat with the spinach to create the spinach hummus.

5

Serve the three hummus with toasted pita bread.

Chef's tip

You can also cut vegetables into sticks to dip, like crudités of carrot, celery, and broccoli.
