Cook a poached egg is very easy with the direct access function “QuickBoiling”. Thanks to the sensors of the intelligent MasterSense induction series, the temperature adjusts automatically, keeping it all the time. And that is something important to poach an egg evenly and with the right juicy point.
But, can you make it with other hobs? Of course!
You can cook poached eggs in other ways, more professionally, or just learning a quick way to make it. We will tell you about two of the most popular ways to cook it, and you can choose:
Poached egg
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, or push the boiling function on your induction hob.
When you have a light simmer, make a whirlpool with the help of a spoon.
Pour the egg gently into the centre of the whirlpool.
Cook for three minutes and, with a slotted spoon, remove it from the saucepan and add salt and pepper.
*Tip: it works better with fresh eggs, but if you cannot, drop some vinegar into the water, so the white and yolk remain together.
Poach egg with cling film
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, or push the boiling function on your induction hob.
Line the inside of a mug or cup with cling film, leaving some outside.
Add a dash of oil and crack the egg inside. Add salt and pepper.
Make a small parcel with cling film and knot it to keep the egg inside.
Boil the egg into the water for 4 minutes.
Then, remove from water with a spoon and place it in a cup with cold water to stop the cooking process.
